Katy’s Own KTX Window Cleaning Named One of America’s Top 100 Small Businesses
In a celebration of local grit, service, and heart, Katy-based KTX Window Cleaning, LLC has been named one of America’s Top 100 Small Businesses by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The family-owned company, led by Kyle and Olivia Martin, also earned the rare distinction of being one of just ten national finalists in the Customer Champions category — a recognition that reflects not only their top-tier service but the deep community ties they’ve built across Katy and Fulshear.
Founded in 2018, KTX Window Cleaning has become a trusted name for window cleaning, gutter cleaning, pressure washing, and screen repair services in the Greater Katy area. But their story, and their success, goes far beyond clean windows.
“Being named a Top 10 Customer Champion out of more than 12,000 applicants is overwhelming,” said Olivia Martin, co-owner of KTX Window Cleaning. “We’ve poured so much into this business, often giving time when money wasn’t possible — volunteering, serving on boards, showing up at community events, and working through the Chamber. Those relationships are priceless.”

The national recognition comes from the U.S. Chamber’s CO—100 Awards, which celebrate the most inspiring small businesses across the country. The Martins will represent Katy at the CO—100 Gala in Washington, D.C. this October.
The journey to this milestone hasn’t been without hurdles. The couple faced their toughest test just months after hiring their first two technicians — in January 2020, right before COVID-19 lockdowns halted most commercial operations.
“We pivoted quickly, focused on residential, partnered with local community leaders like Katy Moms Network, and leaned on our Chamber network,” Olivia shared. “That shift helped us grow nearly 400% that year.”

Their commitment to excellence and service led to more than just business growth. The couple launched the KTX Blue Towel Mission, a nonprofit inspired by a chance request to help clean a driveway. That request turned into a full home restoration project for a beloved Katy matriarch known as “Nanny.” The emotional impact of that project sparked a broader initiative to provide free home upkeep services for elderly residents who can no longer manage it on their own.
“Seeing Nanny’s tears of joy reminded us that many elderly homeowners reach a point where upkeep becomes unsafe or impossible,” Olivia said. “That experience inspired us to create Blue Towel Mission, so we could keep giving back in a bigger way.”
Olivia also co-founded Women of Katy, a growing network that provides scholarships, events, and professional resources to women in the Katy area — another example of how the Martins have built their business hand-in-hand with their community.

Their values, deeply rooted in family and faith, come from generations of service. Kyle, a native of Old Katy, was raised by parents who have pastored for more than 60 years, instilling in him a strong sense of purpose and compassion. Olivia, originally from East Texas, grew up watching her parents run one of the oldest barbershops in Tyler — part of a long line of small business owners whose livelihoods were built on relationships, integrity, and perseverance. That legacy of hard work and community-minded entrepreneurship fuels everything the Martins do, from how they treat their customers to how they train and empower their growing team.
Outside of running their business and nonprofits, Kyle and Olivia prioritize family above all. They are parents to three children, and cherish creating core memories together — whether that’s beach trips, spontaneous backyard adventures, or everyday moments around the dinner table. Olivia has recently taken up watercolor painting, while Kyle enjoys restoring old furniture — both hobbies that reflect their creative spirit and eye for detail.
“Anything that brings us closer as a family is our favorite thing to do,” Olivia shared. That same commitment to meaningful connection echoes through every aspect of their business and community outreach.

Looking ahead, the Martins say they have no plans to grow beyond their core mission.
“Our long-term goal is to keep providing that same high level of service without growing beyond our means,” Olivia noted. “For us, the future isn’t about becoming the biggest company, it’s about maintaining quality, relationships, and the personalized touch our customers have come to trust.”
As they prepare for the national spotlight this October, the Martins remain rooted in the same values that started it all: faith, family, and a commitment to service — one clean window and one grateful customer at a time.
