Georgetown Colony POA Policies and Procedures

Home Improvements & Architectural Guidelines

To help preserve the beauty, harmony, and property values in the Georgetown Colony POA community, all exterior home improvement projects must be reviewed and approved by the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) before work begins. This includes projects such as fence replacements, exterior paint, structural additions, and more.

Submitting an Architectural Review Request

The Architectural Review Request Form can be conveniently downloaded from the SBB Management (formerly Chaparral Management) online portal. For login or portal access help, please refer to the HOA Information tab.

To submit your request:

  1. Complete the Architectural Review Request Form.

  2. Include as much detail as possible (e.g., paint color samples, materials, dimensions, and location).

  3. Submit the form to the community manager. There isn’t processing fee.
Most requests are reviewed and answered well within 30 days, often sooner if complete information is provided upfront.

Understanding Deed Restrictions

To avoid potential deed restriction violations or HOA fines, residents are kindly encouraged to review the official Georgetown Colony POA deed restrictions and community guidelines. These documents outline what is permitted within the neighborhood and help ensure a clean, cohesive, and welcoming environment for all.

Residents can find the bylaws and deed restrictions conveniently located in the SBB Management portal.
