Nottingham Trash & Recycling Services
Trash Service
Trash is picked up on Tuesdays and Fridays for Sections 1-9. Please have your trash out by 7 a.m. (If you live in Section 10, your HOA is not the NCCIA. To find your trash and recycling information, please visit your HOA at nottinghamcountryfund.com.)
If you do not have an alleyway behind your house, household garbage will be collected at the garage door area (this includes up to 3 bags of grass not heavier than 40 pounds per bag).
Tree and shrub trimmings and fencing must be bundled and tied in lengths no greater than 4 feet, and the branch diameter must be less than 4 inches. The bundling allows for quick pickup and the size limitations are required to avoid damaging our provider’s equipment. If you do not have an alleyway, this type of debris must be placed at the curb. If you do have an alley, please place the debris as close as possible to the alley.
Bulky items must be placed at the curb and will be picked up on either collection day. This includes appliances, furniture and carpet (up to 1 room, rolled and tied up in 4 foot sections, and not heavier than 40 pounds).
Our provider, Best Trash, will not collect dirt, rocks, bricks, tile, concrete, liquid paint, fertilizer, chemicals, cooking oil, gasoline, motor oil, tires, construction debris, or waste generated by a private contractor (i.e. remodeling, landscaping).
Holiday Schedule
If a holiday falls on a scheduled pickup day, trash will be collected on the next regularly scheduled pickup day. If a holiday falls on a recycling day, the recycling will be picked up the next week.

Heavy Trash Days
We have one heavy trash day in April and one in October; further details will be reported closer to the actual dates. This year, NCCIA and MCUD will once again sponsor a Heavy Trash Day in October. All items will be taken and unloaded with the exception of tires, used oil, paint that has not hardened and household chemicals.
