Grayson Lakes Policies & Procedures

Dock Repair Guidelines

Is your dock falling apart and you don't know where to start? Are you a new resident and would like to build a dock?  Check out the attached information.  A big thank you to resident Dick Armstrong for doing all the leg work to get you started!

Grayson Lakes Access and Fishing Rules

There have been a number of individuals walking around the lake and fishing outside of the designated public areas.  Please remember that nearly all property bordering the lake and in front of the homes is private property including the docks.  This also includes grassy areas between fencing and the water.  Individuals will be considered to be trespassing if they have not been given permission to be there by the resident.  Owners are asked to call Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office non-emergency line to report trespassers 281-341-4665.

As a reminder, fishing in Grayson Lakes is catch-and-release.

Fence Replacement

The wooden fences in our neighborhood are reaching end of life and many are in need of repair or replacement. Please remember that you must submit an architectural modification request form for any fence replacement or repair work.

Also, per the guidelines, painting or staining fences is prohibited.

Before submitting a modification request form, we suggest a review of Exhibit E - Architectural Guidelines. Adherence to the Architectural Guidelines, facilitates a faster approval of your request.

The necessary information can be accessed by clicking the links above.

Fort Bend County Code - Trees Bordering Streets

Grayson Lakes home owners, as an unincorporated area of Ft. Bend County, are obligated to maintain street clearance for trees near our public streets.  Clearance of at least 13'6" is needed for fire truck and fire apparatus access, as per Section 503 of our county's fire code.  Please ensure that your trees that border the streets trimmed up to this clearance for everyone's safety in our neighborhood.

Additionally, Grayson Lakes has tree and landscaping requirements that were established by the developer in order to maintain a beautiful area.  If you wish to make changes to visible aspects of the outside of your home and property, please see Exhibit E or email Kendall at Crest with questions.

Report Suspicious Dumping

Please help us protect our waterways.  If you see suspicious activity, please report any dumping or discharges to MDS at 281-290-6503.

Be Watchful - Call FBCSO
