Rosewood Atascosa Estates Trash & Recycling
The City of Lytle and Waste Management provide solid-waste service. Regular trash collection is Thursday; carts should be out by 7 a.m.
Recycling is drop-off—not curbside
City customers may bring recycling to the Lytle Public Works Shop, 19580 Florence Street, every Wednesday and the first and third Saturday of the month from 8 a.m. to noon, except holidays. Bring a driver's license and utility bill as proof of residency.
Accepted at the recycling drop-off
- Plastic containers marked #1 or #2
- Food and beverage cans
- Paper, uncoated cardboard and paperboard
Material must be dry, loose, unbagged, unshredded and empty. Do not bring food waste, foam, cartons, batteries, bulbs, glass, plastic bags or film.
Hazardous and hard-to-recycle items
Lytle residents can schedule Waste Management's free At Your Door collection for household chemicals, sharps, electronics, batteries, bulbs, automotive fluids and paint at WMAtYourDoor.com, 800-449-7587 or AtYourDoor@wm.com.
