Forest Oaks Park

Forest Oaks Park is approximately 60 acres and is open to all Harris County WCID110 residents providing a playground, walking/jogging trails, certified 5k trail, covered & uncovered picnic pavilions, 4 stocked fishing lakes (All size bass, channel & blue catfish under 14 inches are catch & release only), and lots of benches and swings throughout the park. The park is located at 19023 Joanleigh Drive, Spring, TX 77388. Forest Oaks Park host many events of its own, such as 5K runs, family fun walks, Scouting events, live music concerts, kids fishing tournaments and lots more activities throughout each year. The park is open SUNRISE to DUSK (all park guest should depart the park prior to sunset). Mercer Botanic Gardens

Mercer Botanic Gardens spans 393 acres in Humble, Texas. Aldine Westfield Road divides the property into the east side botanic gardens and the west side arboretum. The botanic gardens consist of over 60 acres of beautifully maintained gardens that feature bamboo, color displays, daylilies, endangered species, ferns, gingers, herbs, tropicals, and more. The East Side also has an extensive walking trail system, a Remembrance Walk for memorials and honorariums, ponds, a visitors’ center, courtyard plaza, plus much more. The arboretum on the west side of Aldine Westfield features two playgrounds, a picnic area nestled in a woodland setting with two barbecue pavilions, plenty of picnic tables, a hickory bog and boardwalk, cypress swamp, maple collection and several miles of walking trails that wind through beautifully preserved woodlands. Mercer employs a team of experienced botanists, horticulturists, and gardeners who offer a wealth of knowledge and information, and will gladly assist you in any way they can during your visit. Dylan Park

Dylan Park is located adjacent to the North Houston Skate Park at 12351 Kuykendahl Road, Houston, TX 77067.  A park without limits, it has features developed to engage children who are sight impaired, hearing impaired, autistic or wheelchair-bound.  The playground equipment is wheelchair-accessible to allow families with special needs children to explore the different interactive textures and surfaces. The park also includes open grassy areas, walking trails and a butterfly garden.  Features include multiple playgrounds, walking trails, shaded picnic tables, benches, signage in braille, community room, butterfly garden, public art, and rubberized fall-zone surface. Cypress Creek Park at Timber Lane

Cypress Creek Park is located at 2114 Naplechase Crest Dr, Spring, TX 77373. The park is comprised of 104 acres with 3 lakes, skateboard park, 2 pavilions, 2 fishing piers, 2 observation decks, playground, natural surface trails and 1 mile of paved trail.
