Regular Trash & Recycling Pickup

Trash is collected every Monday and Thursday.

Recycling is picked up every Thursday.

Guidelines

Heavy Trash / Bulk Waste

We collect up to two heavy items every service day! Heavy trash includes large or irregular items you don’t throw away regularly, such as:

  • Furniture (couches, tables, mattresses, box springs, desks, dressers, etc.)

  • Appliances (washers, dryers, dishwashers, etc.)

  • Hot water heaters

  • Fencing, decking, or siding (please remove nails, cut pieces to 4 feet or shorter, tie in bundles under 50 lbs—limit 8 bundles per pickup)

  • Trampolines (must be broken down—place metal parts with recycling if possible)

  • Basketball goals (broken down into sections no longer than 4 feet; no concrete in base or poles)

  • Carpeting/flooring (cut to 4 feet or shorter, tie in bundles under 50 lbs—limit 8 bundles per pickup)

Yard Waste Guidelines
  • Grass clippings should go in bags or cans under 50 lbs (limit 8 bags per service day)

  • Branches should be placed in clear individual piles (no larger than 3' x 3' x 3') or tied into bundles under 50 lbs. Branches should be 6 inches or less in diameter to protect our equipment. Limit 8 bundles per pickup.

  • Have more than 8 bags or bundles? That’s considered a pay pile and may incur extra charges.

Did You Know?
Recyclables bagged in plastic bags end up in the landfill 90% of the time.  Due to safety and productivity, recycling centers do not open up plastic bags to sort their contents.  They simply remove the bags and contents and discard them as contamination. If you need to bag your recyclables, use paper bags or cardboard boxes.
