Meet Katy ISD’s Brightest: Class of 2025 Valedictorians and Salutatorians Announced

May 12 2025

Graduation season is officially here in Katy ISD, and with it comes one of the year’s most anticipated announcements: the names of the Class of 2025 valedictorians and salutatorians. These 18 seniors have worked relentlessly over the past four years to earn the top two spots at each of the district’s high schools—and now, their moment in the spotlight has arrived.

Katy ISD, recognized as the top public school district in Houston by Niche, is known for its high standards and competitive academic atmosphere. But beyond the weighted GPAs and AP course loads, this announcement is really about honoring the long hours, quiet persistence, and deep passion that brought these students to the finish line.

“Congratulations to these students for achieving this incredible honor and for setting such a high bar for their peers,” said Ronnie Edwards, assistant superintendent for school leadership & support at Katy ISD. “We wish them, and all the Class of 2025 graduates, the very best in their next pursuits.”

More Than Numbers

While the GPAs tell part of the story, what makes this moment truly special is the heart behind it. These valedictorians and salutatorians didn’t just chase a number—they followed a passion for learning, even when it meant making sacrifices along the way.

Their achievement reflects the spirit of the Class of 2025: resilient, ambitious, and ready to take on whatever comes next. Join us in congratulating these hardworking students!
