Cypress-Fairbanks ISD Announces District-Wide Closure for Tuesday, January 16
According to an official update from Cypress-Fairbanks ISD (CFISD), all CFISD schools and facilities will be closed on Tuesday, January 16.
The District indicated that Dr. Killian, superintendent of schools, and the CFISD Police Department have been driving and assessing the road conditions in our area today, leading to the District's decision to to announce the closure for the safety and well-being of students, staff, and the community.
Additionally, all before- and after-school practices and activities are cancelled.
CFISD will continue to monitor the road conditions for Wednesday, January 17 and will issue updates as soon as a decision is made. For future updates, the District urges parents, teachers and staff to stay tuned to the district website, social media and SchoolMessenger.
