Cy-Fest 2025 Set to Bring Fun, Community, and Legacy to Life at Lone Star College-CyFair on Oct. 4
Mark your calendar for a favorite fall tradition in Cy-Fair. Cy-Fest 2025 returns to Lone Star College-CyFair on Saturday, October 4, bringing together families, neighbors, and local organizations for a day of celebration, connection, and hands-on fun.
Running from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the event is free and open to the public, offering a dynamic mix of entertainment, education, and community service — all wrapped into this year’s theme: “Our Campus. Our Community. Our Legacy.”
This year marks two decades of LSC-CyFair's deep roots in the Cypress-Fairbanks area, and the Cy-Fest team has crafted a festival that reflects that legacy through hands-on activities, student showcases, health and wellness resources, and festive fun for every age group.
“Bringing Cy-Fest to life has always been a labor of love for our team, and we can’t wait to see our campus buzzing with laughter, creativity and connection on Oct. 4,” said Michelle Tran, Executive Director of Communications, Outreach & Engagement at LSC-CyFair. “This year’s festival is a vibrant celebration of our shared legacy, and we’ve poured our hearts into creating a day where everyone can make memories and feel the spirit of the Cy-Fair community!”

Giving Back: Non-Profit Empowerment
In a heartfelt nod to community support, this year’s Cy-Fest features a new partnership with Cy-Fair Helping Hands (CFHH), which will collect donations to stock The Empowerment Center (TEC) — a vital LSC-CyFair resource offering food, supplies, and career help to students in need.
“We understand firsthand what it’s like to need food and school supplies when times are tough," said Janet Ryan, Executive Director of CFHH. "There’s something incredibly meaningful about being able to provide tangible items that directly meet someone’s immediate needs. It just feels right.”
Plan Your Visit
Guests are encouraged to enter the campus at Entrance C off West Road and park in South Lots 1–5. Stop by one of the four Welcome Tables at each entry for free water and interactive map access.
Festivalgoers can also catch up on event previews with returning Cy-Fest Brand Ambassador Rachel Sheffield, a 2020 graduate of LSC-CyFair and the creative mind behind Rachel Designs.
