CFISD Cross Country Runners Earn All-District Honors
District 16-6A and District 17-6A coaches selected the All-District 16-6A and All-District 17-6A cross country teams following the conclusion of each team’s 2023 season.
On the girls’ side of District 16-6A, Bridgeland High School freshman Kate Garrison and Langham Creek High School freshman Alison Monfil were named Co-Newcomer of the Year. Bridgeland Head Coach Tom Kennedy was voted Coach of the Year.
On the boys’ side in District 16-6A, Bridgeland sophomoreMaddox McCallister was named Newcomer of the Year. Bridgeland Head Coach Kevin Waters was voted Coach of the Year.
District 17-6A did not name any superlative awards.
