Williamsburg Settlement HOA Offers Support and Payment Options for 2026 Assessments
The Williamsburg Settlement Homeowners Association would like to share a thoughtful and supportive reminder regarding 2026 annual assessments, which were due on January 1. As of January 31, unpaid accounts became delinquent, and this year the number of past-due accounts is higher than the community has seen before. The Board recognizes that this often reflects broader personal or financial challenges—not a lack of care for the neighborhood.
HOA assessments play an important role in keeping Williamsburg Settlement running smoothly, covering essential expenses like landscaping, utilities, maintenance, and preparing shared amenities for the season ahead. When payments are delayed, it can make it harder for the association to meet these obligations. With that in mind, the Board’s focus is on communication, understanding, and helping residents move forward—together.
In accordance with the HOA’s Collection Policy, first reminder letters were mailed on February 4 to 127 homeowners whose accounts remain unpaid. These letters include a $25 administrative fee tied to the required mailing process. Residents who have not responded by March 4 will, under the same policy, receive a certified follow-up notice that includes an additional $50 charge. The HOA sincerely hopes residents can avoid these added costs by reaching out early.

Help is Here: Reach Out Today
For anyone who is having difficulty making a one-time payment, help is absolutely available. Payment plans can be arranged, and the association encourages residents to have a conversation rather than feel overwhelmed or unsure of what to do next. Laura, the Community Accountant with Crest Management, is available to assist in a confidential, respectful, and judgment-free way. She can be reached at laura@crest-management.com or 281-945-4639.
Keeping accounts current also ensures continued access to community amenities, including clubhouse rentals and pool use when the pool opens for the season. These shared spaces are part of what makes Williamsburg Settlement a welcoming place to live, and the HOA wants every resident to be able to enjoy them.
Above all, the HOA wants residents to know this outreach comes from a place of care and community—not pressure. Life can be unpredictable, and financial situations change. Taking a small step, whether that’s making a payment, asking questions, or requesting a payment plan, can make a meaningful difference. The Board appreciates the efforts of residents who stay engaged and encourages neighbors to reach out so solutions can be found—together.
