Mobile County Clerk Services Coming to Somerset Jan. 24
On Saturday, January 24, the Bexar County Clerk’s Mobile Satellite Office will be visiting Somerset Junior High School during the Parent & Community Expo, bringing vital courthouse services directly to southern Bexar County residents.
This one-day event is a game-changer for people in neighborhoods like Preserve at Medina River, who would otherwise need to drive to downtown San Antonio for services like marriage licenses, property deed filings, birth and death certificates, and business registrations.
The mobile unit is part of a broader county initiative to improve access to government services, especially for residents in more rural or underserved areas. The unit operates as a fully functional extension of the courthouse and is staffed with trained personnel.

This visit is especially timely for families attending the Expo, where additional community resources and school services will be available. It’s a chance to take care of both personal and family needs in one place.
Officials say turnout at these mobile offices continues to grow, and more locations across Bexar County are being considered for future visits in 2026.
