Superintendent Announces Spring Branch ISD Police Substation
With safety and security as the district’s very highest priority, Dr. Jennifer Blaine, SBISD Superintendent of Schools, announced on August 19, 2024 that the former Spring Shadows Elementary facility will house a Spring Branch ISD Police Substation, beginning this fall.
With the main SBISD Police Station located on the east side of the district, and a substation operating out of the Westchester Academy for International Studies facility to the west, this location will enable the SBISD Police to add a substation in the north central part of the district. In addition to providing a stronger SBISD Police presence in the area as the district continues to grow the ranks of our SBISD Police, this new SBISD Police location will also be used as a training facility for our district’s law enforcement officers.
The location also will enable SBISD Police to have a quicker response time to area schools. The district also will utilize the facility as an added professional development and meeting location for district staff. We thank our parents, staff, students and community members for their continued partnership as we keep safety and security as our school district’s very highest priority.
