Cy-Fair Women's Club Welcomes New Board Members
The Cy-Fair Women's Club (CWC), a service-oriented organization known for its impactful community work across the Cy-Fair region, has recently welcomed new board members. Each member brings a unique blend of skills, experiences, and aspirations that promise to drive the club's mission forward.
Since its inception in 1982 as the Copperfield Women's Club, the Cy-Fair Women's Club has been a pillar of support and service in the Cy-Fair region. Founded by forward-thinking women dedicated to addressing their community's needs, the club has only expanded in scope and influence over the years, leading to its rebranding in 2012. Turning intention into action, the club has provided scholarships, charity assistance, volunteer services, and monetary aid to countless non-profit organizations.
Annual fundraisers such as the "Shop 'til You Drop Marketplace" have seen them grant an impressive $175,000 towards student scholarships since 2016, with over $270,000 being given back to the community in the past decade alone. The depth of their commitment to service and philanthropy continues to create a tangible and positive impact on their community, enriching lives and uplifting the Cy-Fair region.
Now in its 42nd year of service to the community, the Cy-Fair Women's Club is ushering in a new era of leadership that is focused on continuing and expanding opportunities for short-term volunteering projects that connect members to the needs of the Cy-Fair community.
