Oak Park Trails Open Swim Day

Oak Park Trails is welcoming residents back to the pool for its annual Open Swim Day on Saturday, May 2, 2026, a laid-back community event that marks the start of summer in Katy.

Held at the neighborhood pool on Bluffton Lane, the event offers families a chance to reconnect, meet neighbors, and enjoy a casual day outdoors. A highlight for kids is the fire truck visit, a longtime favorite.

This year also includes a meaningful community effort. Residents are encouraged to bring unopened 100% juice boxes to support Kids’ Meals, Inc. through Crest Management’s Juicebox Challenge. The Houston-based nonprofit delivers thousands of meals daily to children facing food insecurity, with demand rising in the summer.
