CFISD Names Inaugural Principal for Middle School No. 20

October 28 2022

Elizabeth Bradley, principal at Pope Elementary School, was named the first principal for CFISD’s 20th middle school on Oct. 27.

Middle School No. 20 is under construction in the Bridgeland master-planned community. The new three-story middle school is located on the Bridgeland Educational Village site, which consists of Bridgeland High School and Wells Elementary School. Middle School No. 20 is set to open in August 2023.

Bradley has 22 years of experience in education, beginning with two years in Houston ISD before arriving in CFISD as a fourth grade math and science teacher at Horne Elementary School in 2003. She helped open Andre’ Elementary School as a fourth and fifth grade math and science teacher in 2006 before moving to Aragon Middle School, where she served as a math teacher and campus content instructional specialist. Bradley then helped open Salyards Middle School in 2011 by serving as a campus content instructional specialist. In 2013, she was named the director of instruction helping teacher at Kahla Middle School before being named the director of instruction at Kahla, working in that role for four years. Bradley accepted her current principal position at Pope in 2018.

Bradley earned her Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Communications from Sam Houston State University and her Master in Curriculum and Technology from the University of Phoenix.

She is a National Association of Elementary School Principals certified principal mentor, has served as a national and district Quantum Learning trainer and has served on several district committees. Bradley was also named a spotlight teacher at Andre’ and Aragon in 2006 and 2008, respectively.

“I am honored to serve as the first principal of our newest middle school,” Bradley said. “I look forward to continuing the tradition of excellence in the Bridgeland community and growing relationships with both current and future families. Together we will fulfill the vision for the CFISD educational village.”
