Anniston Community Association Provides Highlights from August 2025 Board
Editor’s Note: The following correspondence was provided by the Anniston Community Association. It is being shared here for homeowners to ensure residents remain informed about community updates, Board actions, and upcoming neighborhood events.
Dear Anniston Homeowner,
We would like to provide you with a summary of the topics that were discussed during the Board meeting held on August 12, 2025. The purpose of this correspondence is to keep all members of the Association informed of matters brought forward and to inform you of the steps being taken in response. It is the Board’s intent to issue this type of follow-up after each Board meeting so that Homeowners remain fully aware of the progress being made. In the future, these items will also be incorporated into a Q&A page on the community website for ongoing reference.
Lights Along Anniston Lakes Drive
A work order has been created for a vendor who will patrol the community once a month, either in the early morning or evening, to identify streetlights that are not functioning. A report of outages will be provided to Centerpoint Energy to ensure that repairs and bulb replacements are made promptly. This proactive measure will help maintain adequate lighting throughout the community. However, you are encouraged to report any off lights poles to this website. The sooner it is reported, the better.

We are happy to announce a partnership with My Neighborhood News which will host an Anniston Community page: myneighborhoodnews.com/anniston
There, you will find very important information like governing documents, community policies, the Association’s welcome packet, ARA form, as well as local resources. We strongly encourage all homeowners to use this website.
