Why Submitting a Proxy for the Grayson Lakes HOA Annual Meeting is Essential
Attention Grayson Lakes residents! The HOA Annual Meeting is fast approaching on September 26, 2024 at 6:00 PM, taking place at the Grayson Lakes Clubhouse. If you’re unable to attend in person, submitting a proxy is crucial for the smooth operation of the meeting and to ensure your voice is heard.
What is a proxy and why is it important?
- Proxy: A proxy is a document that allows you to assign another person to vote on your behalf if you can't attend the meeting yourself.
- Quorum: A quorum is the minimum number of members required to be present (either in person or via proxy) to conduct official business and make decisions at the meeting. Without a quorum, the meeting cannot proceed.
Why submit your proxy?
-
Achieves a Quorum: Your proxy helps ensure that a quorum is reached, allowing the meeting to proceed and decisions to be made. Without enough proxies, the meeting may be delayed or canceled.
-
Represents Your Interests: By assigning your proxy to another resident or sending it to Crest Management, you ensure that your opinions and concerns are represented even if you can’t be there in person.
How to Submit Your Proxy
-
Assign a Proxy Holder: Choose a fellow Grayson Lakes homeowner who will attend the meeting and give them your proxy. Ensure they are ready to vote on your behalf.
-
Mail or Deliver: Send your completed proxy to Crest Management, Attn: Pam, at 17171 Park Row Blvd, #310, Houston, TX 77084.
-
Email: Alternatively, email your proxy to Pam, your community manager, at Pam@Crest-Management.com. For this method, your proxy must be received by Crest Management by 4:00 PM on September 25, 2024.
