Katy Mills Celebrates 25 Years as Houston's Premier Outlet Shopping Destination with Exciting Events and New Retail Offerings
As Katy Mills, the premier shopping mall in Katy, clocks 25 years this month, the community has been invited for a grand celebration of this milestone on Monday, October 28th, 2024, starting at 9 A.M.
Since its opening on October 28th, 1999, Katy Mills has been a leading indoor outlet shopping destination in Houston. Standing the test of time, 31 of the initial stores continue as loyal tenants amongst a total of over 175 stores today. The shopping destination, which covers a sprawling 1.3 million square-feet, boasts household names like Nike, Steve Madden, Sephora, and many others.
The center's Director of Marketing and Business Development, Lisa Connolly, expressed her gratitude towards the Houston community, saying, “For the past 25 years, Katy Mills has thrived by offering high-quality retail and entertainment choices to families and visitors throughout the Houston area. We have so much to celebrate as we commemorate this milestone, and we are thankful for the continued support of our community.”
Celebratory events lined up for the day include a breakfast by Yellow Rose Catering, music by Tanner Harrington Piano Studio, free commemorative photographs by Snap & Pop Events, and exclusive anniversary branded tote bags for the first 250 guests.

In addition, Katy Mills is hosting a month-long shopping event from October 1st to the end of October. Shoppers can take advantage of special offers from top retailers like Guess Factory, Jewelry Box, Sunglass Hut, and Earthbound Trading Company.
