Katy ISD Partners in Education Launches Food for Families Initiative
As the winter break approaches, the Katy ISD Partners in Education organization is initiating its annual Food for Families campaign, aiming to support local students and families in need. The initiative seeks to raise $41,238 to purchase grocery gift cards, which will be distributed to Katy ISD families in need before the winter break, helping to ensure access to essential food supplies while school is out of session. Families receiving support through this initiative are identified by school counselors to ensure donations reach those most in need.
Currently, the campaign has raised 8% of its goal, totaling $3,175. The organization emphasizes that all funds raised will be utilized for the Food for Families campaign, regardless of whether the full goal is met. Katy ISD Partners in Education plays a vital role in connecting community members to schools, providing numerous volunteering opportunities that enhance the educational experience for students. Donations of any amount are welcomed and will significantly impact the lives of families within the Katy ISD community.
