Katy ISD Community Education Program Launches Online Courses for Fall Season
The Katy ISD Community Education program’s online registration portal is officially open for the fall season. For over 30 years, the program has consistently drawn up to a thousand participants annually, offering a wide spectrum of learning opportunities to the public.
The Fall Community Education Course Catalog, now live and accessible here, encapsulates an interesting mix of both multi-week and single-night virtual classes. These courses, diligently designed and structured, are meant to help participants acquire new skills and boost knowledge in various disciplines, ranging from self-improvement and recreation, to academic courses.

Multi-week classes include courses in drawing, dance, health and wellness, and culinary arts. On the other hand, the single-night courses cater to specific interests such as business and finance, and retirement and long-term planning.
Notably, this fall, for the first time in the program’s history, the classes are entirely virtual. This strategic shift towards digital learning is geared at providing greater flexibility and convenience for the participants, allowing them to join courses from the comfort of their homes. Enrollment is open to adults aged 18 and older.
