Did you know that there are several farmers markets within easy reach of your neighborhood? Get locally grown and curated food without driving across town. Surprisingly, produce at farmers markets are often competitively priced with major grocery store chains and when you buy from a farmers market, you often buy directly from the grower or producer! In addition to produce, farmers markets almost always have other incredible finds like local honey, handmade soap, fresh milk, eggs, homemade bread, artisan jewelry and much more.

Check out one of these local farmers markets and share the delicious taste and delectable smells of locally sourced goods with your family! Be sure to bring cash (although many vendors accept cards these days), wear a hat, and bring a few reusable bags to carry your goodies. Your kiddos or furry friends might even want to come along - you never know what you will find at a farmers market!

The Farmers' Market on Grand Parkway

Staying close to our Cinco Ranch roots, we have moved to our new location at The Church of the Holy Apostles just north of Highland Knolls in Katy on the Grand Parkway. The Farmers' Market on Grand Parkway offers local sustainably grown produce, locally raised meats, farm fresh eggs, artisan crafts, handmade breads and baked goods, handmade soaps, jams and jellies, spices, snacks, Texas raised herbs, flowers, plants and much more! The Farmers Market on Grand Parkway gives local vendors and farmers a place to come together and celebrate good, hard, honest work - the work done by the hands of our neighbors. Come out and help us grow.

Hours of Operation: Saturdays from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (rain or shine)

Katy Local Market

Farm products, artisan crafts, health and wellness and many more local businesses. The Katy Local Market is designed to be family friendly and lift up small businesses owned by people living in the community.

Location: Stableside at Falcon Landing (9910 Gaston Rd, Katy, TX 77494)

Hours of Operation: 4th Saturday of each month from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Cane Island Local Market

Farm products, artisan crafts, health and wellness and many more local businesses. The Cane Island Local Market is designed to be family friendly and lift up small businesses owned by people living in the community.

Location: Cane Island Community Center (2100 Cane Island Parkway, Katy, TX 77493)

Hours of Operation: 3rd Saturday of each month from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (June - August)

Katy Prairie Market

Farmers products, artisan crafts, and vintage items. The Katy Prairie Market is designed to be family friendly and lift up small businesses owned by people living in the community.

Location: Kingsland Baptist Church (24111 Stockdick School Rd, Katy, TX 77493)

Hours of Operation: 2nd Saturday of each month from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Fulshear Farmers Market

Ramona Ridge, owner of Fulshear Farmers Market, wanted to be careful that every accepted vendor grew or produced their goods within a 200 mile radius of Fulshear so as to keep the carbon footprint down and assure that all of the offerings were fresh and local. To this day, the owners visit each farm to insure that their farmers are growing the produce they bring to their Market.
