Operation Turkey Tailgate at Katy Elks Lodge

Operation Turkey is calling all helping hands in Katy, Texas, to come together for a full day of community service, generosity, and Thanksgiving prep at the Katy Turkey Tailgate on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Katy Elks Lodge #2628 (1050 Katy Fort Bend Rd, Katy, TX 77493).

This volunteer-powered event is one of the most crucial parts of Operation Turkey’s mission to prepare, package, and deliver over 13,000 hot Thanksgiving meals to individuals and families facing hunger and homelessness across Greater Houston. The Turkey Tailgate is where the magic begins—smoking turkeys, prepping sides, organizing donations, and creating care packages that will serve the community the very next day.
