MakerFest at Klein Cain High School – STEAM, eSports & Family Innovation Fun

MakerFest 2025, hosted by Klein ISD Libraries is happening on Friday, November 8, at Klein Cain High School. From 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, students, families, and community members are invited to explore a world of discovery through interactive experiences designed to foster curiosity, critical thinking, and real-world problem-solving.
This free family event is open to all K–12 students in Klein ISD and offers an exciting mix of STEAM challenges, eSports gaming competitions, and creative make-and-take projects.
Activities Include:
- STEAM Challenges – Dive into hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math projects
- eSports Challenges – Show off your gaming skills in a fun, competitive format
- Make & Take Projects – Build your own creation and bring it home
- Family Maker Challenges – Team up with family members to complete tasks and win cool prizes
Throughout the event, every campus library in Klein ISD will host a custom makerspace station, empowering students to explore, tinker, and learn in meaningful, student-driven ways.
Whether you’re building a bridge from popsicle sticks, coding a robot, crafting a keepsake, or strategizing for the next eSports victory, MakerFest is your launchpad for innovation. It’s more than a showcase—it’s a celebration of the future-ready skills that Klein ISD fosters every day.
