Gone Fishin' 2025

The Spring Trails Community Association is excited to announce the return of a long-time favorite—Gone Fishin’ 2025—taking place on April 26 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This family-friendly community fishing event in Spring, TX is making a post-pandemic comeback with the support of the Precinct 3 Parks Department, promising a fun morning outdoors for anglers of all ages.

• Prize categories for both adults and children:
  • Adults: Biggest Fish, Most Fish
  • Children: Biggest Fish, Smallest Fish, Most Fish
• Raffle prize drawings
• Free bait (Canadian crawlers) provided
• Educational emphasis on barbless hook use and catch-and-release ethics

• Mosquito spray, sunscreen, and weather-appropriate clothing
• Sports chair and personal fishing equipment (barbless hooks only)
• A valid fishing license for ages 17+
• A commitment to “pack out your trash” – bags will be provided

No parking at Spring Creek Greenway Center due to voting. Please walk if possible and avoid blocking the road.
