Citizen Police Academy (Sept 2 – Oct 21)

The Tomball Police Department’s Citizen Police Academy begins on September 2 and runs Tuesday evenings through October 21. This free 8-week educational program gives community members a behind-the-scenes look at law enforcement. Participants will meet at the Tomball Police Department training room (400 Fannin St.) from 6:00–9:00 PM each week to learn about patrol operations, crime scene investigations, dispatch communications and more. It’s a unique opportunity for residents to engage with officers, gain practical knowledge through demonstrations and simulations, and better understand how the police serve our city. Registration is required and space is limited; interested citizens should apply in advance via the Tomball PD website.
