Behind the Badge Charities continues college scholarships and first responder assistance through Covid19 pandemic and it’s time to raise funds.

First Responders from all around Fort Bend County risk their lives every day for citizens they’ve never met. Firefighters run into burning buildings, police officers chase armed robbers and emergency medical technicians offer lifesaving breaths. These first responders leave their families at home to do an often thankless job few of us would do.

Every year, Behind the Badge Charities awards college scholarships to the children of first responders working in Fort Bend County and emergency financial assistance to Fort Bend County’s first responders. The Covid19 pandemic has brought with it difficult times for much of our nation and Fort Bend County’s first responders are on the front lines.

Behind the Badge Charities has committed to holding our annual Boots & Badges Gala on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Safari Texas in Richmond. Annually, Behind the Badge Charities provides college scholarships valued at $2,000 each to deserving young men and women. Scholarship applications will become available soon and must be submitted by March 31, 2022. Eligible applicants can apply at: www.behindthebadgecharities.org/scholarships
