40th Annual Governors Place Independence Day Festivities

Governors Place will celebrate its 40th Annual Independence Day Festivities on Friday, July 4, 2025, rain or shine.

The day begins at 9:00 a.m. in the Clubhouse parking lot (335 Governors Place Drive) with a community celebration featuring a Flag Ceremony led by Scouts from Troop 48, an invocation, patriotic songs, an Independence Day History Trivia Contest, and a “Decorate Yourself” contest.

The neighborhood parade will follow at approximately 9:30 a.m. Pool festivities begin at 10:00 a.m. and continue through 8:00 p.m., with lunch served from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. in the pool area.

Residents are invited to enjoy a fun-filled and safe holiday with neighbors and friends.
