Warner Elementary DI Team Places Third at Global Finals
Students from Warner Elementary School placed third in the Scientific Challenge, “Far-Fetched,” at the Destination Imagination Global Finals, held May 20-23 in Kansas City, Missouri.
The Intelligent Crafters, who won first place in the Lone Star Finals in March to qualify for Globals, were CFISD’s lone medalists.
The team members are third grade students Gautham Badam, Satkrit Srivastava, Srithan Chebrolu, Ayati Sudharsan, Akshara Pothireddy andReva Gokhale. The team managers are Uday Pothireddy and Seemant Srivastava.
“We are so proud of our Warner third grade DI students,” said Schonda Kidd, Warner principal. Their hard work and dedication on Team Intelligent Crafters took them all the way to the Global Finals. Thank you for representing Warner and bringing home third place in the Scientific Challenge.”
