MONTHLY MEETINGS
Copperbrook Board Meetings are on the 2nd Thursday of each month. Agendas are posted at https://copperbrookhoa.com/meeting-information as well as the display cases at the entry to the Copperbrook HOA pool. The agenda will include the location, time and topics of the meeting. Agendas are posted 6 days prior to the meeting date. Meetings are held at La Madeline off Northwest FWY, but due to COVID-19, we have temporarily switched to virtual meetings. WATER METERS
MUD 130 has EyeOnWater access to homeowners, which helps keep track of your water usage. Visit www.eyeonwater.net and you will need your zip code, account number and email to sign up. Let us know if you need help getting this setup.
GARDENING & LAWN MAINTENANCE TIPS
The time for planning the garden is over and the time for working in the garden has arrived.
- Apply compost to the soil..
- Plant summer bulbs.
- Plant peas. (Late March)
- Deadhead early bloomers.
- Practice slug control.
- Hang maggot traps to protect your apple trees.
- Prune rose bushes and fertilize them.

GARAGE SALE
Mark your calendars, it’s a few months away. We would like you to stay safe and follow CDC guidelines as you prepare to think about getting your items ready for the Garage Sale.

Saturday, October 1 , 7 AM-3 PM (Rain date following Saturday)
MINI BURGERS WITH THE WORKS

1/4-pound ground beef
- 3 slices American cheese
- 4 slices white bread (heels of loaves recommended)
- 2 tablespoons prepared Thousand Island salad dressing • 2 pearl onions, thinly sliced
- 4 baby dill pickles, thinly sliced
- 3 cherry tomatoes, thinly sliced

Shape beef into twelve 1-in. patties. Place on a microwave-safe plate lined with paper towels. Cover with another paper towel; microwave on high for 1 minute until meat is no longer pink. Cut each slice of cheese into fourths; set aside.
- Using a 1-in. round cookie cutter, cut out 6 circles from each slice of bread. Spread half the bread circles with dressing. Layer with burgers, cheese, onions, pickles and tomatoes. Top with remaining bread circles; secure with toothpicks.
1 burger: 68 calories, 3g fat (1g saturated fat), 11mg cholesterol, 153mg sodium, 5g carbohydrate (1g sugars, 0 fiber), 4g protein.
