Katy ISD's CANstruction 2022 Yields 5,417 Pounds of Non-Perishable Donations

Last week, Katy ISD Education Support Complex staff participated in the annual CANstruction competition and food drive! Departments were asked to construct the best non-perishable canned creation with the goal of donating all canned goods to Katy Christian Ministries/KCM. Even some of our school namesakes joined in on the fun as official judges!

The top prize went to the Technology Department's Legacy Greens Miniature Golf Course – “Putt-ing Out Hunger” but the real reward was in being able to donate a total of 5,417 lbs of non-perishables, monetary donations and turkeys to KCM.
