Ivy Kids Early Learning Center Breaks Ground in Audubon, Adding New Childcare and Preschool Capacity in Magnolia

February 17 2026

Families in Magnolia will soon have another early childhood education option close to home. Ivy Kids Early Learning Center – Audubon, Magnolia is officially moving into the construction phase at 16880 Mill Run Dr, Pinehurst, TX 77362, with a $1.5 million, 10,706-square-foot campus now underway in Montgomery County. According to official permit filings, the project began in early December 2025 is scheduled for completion by early August 2026. A groundbreaking ceremony is planned for Tuesday, February 24 at 11:30 a.m.

For parents balancing work schedules, kindergarten readiness and growing childcare waitlists in the Magnolia area, the new campus adds much-needed childcare and preschool availability in one of Magnolia’s rapidly growing areas. The facility is designed to serve children from six weeks through age 12, offering infant care, toddler classrooms, preschool for ages 3–4, Pre-K programs, before- and after-school care, and seasonal camps.

The Magnolia location is owned by Bulbul Patel-Shah and Parth Shah, local residents raising two young children of their own. As parents in the community, they say their goal is to create a center that feels dependable and welcoming — a place families can rely on day after day. Their involvement adds a local layer to a brand that has expanded across Texas since its founding in 2005.

According to information provided by Ivy Kids Audubon, the school will follow the organization’s established framework, including age-specific curriculum, secure entry systems, CPR- and first aid-certified staff, on-site educational leadership and ongoing teacher training beyond state requirements. The company also notes its Cognia® accreditation and focus on lower student-to-teacher ratios.

Early childhood experts often cite that much of a child’s brain development occurs before age five, which is why many families prioritize structured early learning programs when choosing where to live. As Magnolia and the Audubon community continue to grow, projects like this reflect the broader need for neighborhood-based childcare and preschool facilities that support young families.

With construction expected to continue through the summer, families can schedule virtual tours and request enrollment information ahead of the projected opening. For residents watching growth in Magnolia and Montgomery County, the new Ivy Kids campus is another sign of how the community is evolving to serve its youngest members.
