Houston’s Biggest Wedding Event Returns: 43rd Biannual Bridal Extravaganza Show Set for January 2026

December 01 2025

One of Houston’s most anticipated events for engaged couples is set to return this January as the 43rd Biannual Bridal Extravaganza Show takes over the George R. Brown Convention Center in Downtown Houston. The event, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, January 24–25, 2026, promises to bring together inspiration, innovation, and a whole lot of wedding magic under one roof.

Now in its 43rd edition, the Bridal Extravaganza Show has grown into the largest wedding vendor showcase in the country—welcoming thousands of brides, grooms, and wedding planners from across Southeast Texas and beyond. With doors opening at 11 a.m. on Saturday and noon on Sunday, couples can explore everything from cakes to couture in a lively, interactive setting.

A Houston Wedding Tradition Since 1983

Launched over four decades ago, the Bridal Extravaganza Show was the brainchild of local entrepreneur Linda Miller, who envisioned a one-stop-shop for brides to plan their big day with ease. What began as a regional event has now become a national leader in bridal expos, setting the gold standard for wedding planning events across the U.S.

Each year, the show connects couples with top wedding vendors and trendsetters from across Houston, offering ideas for every budget, style, and vision—whether it’s a glamorous downtown celebration, a rustic barn wedding, or a beachfront escape.

What to Expect in 2026

This year’s winter show will feature over 225 wedding professionals, including new and returning vendors, showcasing everything from floral design and photography to transportation and technology.

Some notable new vendors joining the January 2026 show include:

  • Impeccable Ride Share: Offering luxury transportation for weddings and related events with a fleet ranging from sedans and party buses to sprinter vans and stretch limos.

  • Houston Botanic Garden: Presenting a lush venue option for ceremonies and receptions at their stunning 132-acre garden setting.

  • Houston Tents & Events: Providing versatile rental solutions for weddings of all sizes, from intimate affairs to large-scale events.

  • The Wandering Board: Bringing gourmet creativity to receptions with charcuterie stations, waffle bars, and snack tables for sweet or savory cravings.

  • The PaiGow App: A new AI-driven wedding planning tool that helps couples manage timelines, to-dos, and vendor coordination efficiently.

One of the most exciting additions is the Creative Corner, where attendees can watch live demonstrations from floral designers, bakers, and artists as they craft beautiful wedding elements in real-time. This hands-on, immersive area is perfect for gathering visual inspiration and meeting creators face-to-face.

Bridal Fashion, Expert Panels, and VIP Perks

The runway fashion shows remain a fan favorite—offering a glimpse at this season’s hottest bridal trends. From intricate beadwork to dreamy lace trains, guests can experience each gown up close and imagine their walk down the aisle.

Attendees can also attend expert speaker panels, where industry professionals will share insights on planning timelines, budgeting, trends, and more. Brides can even submit their personal wedding questions ahead of time for live Q&A sessions.

VIP ticket holders enjoy early access, exclusive prizes, and a signature swag bag including a $200 credit to the SymbolizeIt photo website, a commemorative cake cutter, and the latest issue of Texas Weddings Magazine. The first 100 VIP Brides each day will receive these premium gifts.

For added excitement, couples can enter the Picture-Perfect Contest to win a free engagement photo shoot on Sunday, January 25. There will also be secret judges roaming the show floor to award prizes to the best-dressed bridal parties, so attendees are encouraged to show up in style.

Streamlined Planning in One Weekend

Recognizing that wedding planning can be overwhelming, the Bridal Extravaganza Show offers tools to simplify the process. Through the BrideScan app, couples can scan vendor QR codes and create a personalized list of favorites—making it easier to follow up after the event.

Prize giveaways range from Cancun honeymoons and China sets to photo booth rentals and private events. Guests will leave the weekend not only more informed but inspired and energized.
