Central Green to Host H-Town Sports Day

 

This star-studded event will include athletes from a variety of sports, including the Astros Street Team, Shooting Stars, Houston Dynamo/Dash Street Team, Diesel, NASCAR Ted Minor, RaceCar Ty Hymel, Katy Stars, Deaflympian Joseph Sanatrose, Rock Solid Tae Kwon Do, Whit McClendon Shau Jau Medalist, Texans, Derek Stingley, Christian Harris, Garret Wallow, Toro, Amobi Okoye Texan, Bear, Cowboy, Domination Zone, Nia Abdallah Tae Kwon Do silver medalist, K.O. Bellows, Orion Space Cowboys, Space Cowboys Street Team, and Poss Cheer, plus a Katy Gymnastics and Sports Performance. The World Series Trophy will also be on hand! Located in LaCenterra at 23501 Cinco Ranch Boulevard in Katy, Central Green is a half-acre public park developed by Willow Fork Drainage District (WFDD) that serves as a signature public plaza space for Katy residents and visitors from surrounding areas. Designed to be a centrally located, multi-purpose venue for special events, entertainment and community gatherings, Central Green is located on the south end of LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch in Katy, Texas, close to shops, dining and in walking distance to nearby schools, libraries and theaters.

The park features an outdoor stage, large oak shade trees, and an open lawn with relaxed seating options ideal for sharing coffee with a friend, hanging out with family or enjoying a movie night or live performance.
