It is estimated that over 42 million women in the U.S. are living with cardiovascular disease, placing them at risk for heart attack or stroke. All women need to be aware of their own risk factors, what measures to take to prevent cardiovascular disease, how to recognize the signs of heart attack and stroke and what to do if it happens.
