Timeless Travelers Senior Bus Trip

Seniors 55+ are invited to join the Maud Marks Library’s Timeless Travelers program for a trip to visit the Heritage Society at Sam Houston Park and the Buffalo Soldier Museum. Explore The Heritage Society at Sam Houston Park and their historic buildings. Eat lunch at the Bayou Brewery and then visit the Buffalo Soldier National Museum, dedicated to the history and achievements of Buffalo Soldiers and African American soldiers from all the branches of the U.S. Military The bus will be departing on Thursday, February 22, from 9:30 AM-4:00 PM.

Registration period is from February 5-February 10, 2024. You can call or stop by the library anytime during the registration period. You may choose one companion to accompany you on the trip. Once registration period has ended, if we have more people register than we can accommodate on the bus then we will do a random drawing of names. People not chosen in the drawing will be on a waitlist.

Timeless Travelers is a program series promoting educational and cultural enrichment for senior adults. Once a month, we will take free bus trips across southeast Texas to experience the culture and history of this great state. The only requirement is that you are old enough to attend (55+).
