Description
Duruflé's Requiem, written in 1947, still remains popular to community choruses for it's ease, it's plainchant melodies, and especially it's beautiful Pie Jesu for Alto solo and cello. The composer wrote three different versions of the work - for large orchestra, chamber orchestra and organ, and solo organ. We will be performing the chamber orchestra version.
Come hear the Cypress Creek Community Chorale, under the direction of Dr. Joel Plaag, as we celebrate this magnificent work.
