Pet Pantry Event

Fort Bend County pet owners needing assistance with providing pet food for their furry friends are invited to stop by a Pet Pantry Event hosted by the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies, staff, and volunteers will distribute free dog and cat food during the drive-thru event slated for Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 9 a.m. at the Gus George Academy, located at 1521 Eugene Heimann Cir, Richmond, Texas 77469.

The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office is partnering with the Houston Humane Society once again to assist Fort Bend families who can no longer afford to provide for their pets. No appointment is required, and residents will be served on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Residents are asked to remain in their vehicles while pet food is placed in the residents’ trunks.
