The Tomball Museum Center is hosting their April Museum Talk with Gary L. Foreman on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. at the Museum’s Fellowship Hall building.
Award winning producer/director Gary L. Foreman has worked in multiple aspects of the media and film production since 1972. His diverse talents also include professional photography, creative and technical writing, historical consultant, talent advisor, and set design. Foreman soon began focusing his talents and expertise towards the educational field, including historical documentaries, cultural programming, and historic preservation. His untiringly active preservation efforts for historical sites are well known and chronicled in several publications, including “Sacred Ground: Americans and their Battlefields” (1993 University of Illinois Press).
Combining a “cinematic presence” with superior historical recreations, Foreman has successfully pioneered a new vision of authentic programming for such networks as A&E, The History Channel, Discovery, and PBS.
Having performed on both sides of the camera, Foreman’s credits include the critically acclaimed First Invasion: The War of 1812 (2004 History Channel-creator/producer/director); Boone & Crockett: The Hunter Heroes (2003 History Channel – creator/producer/director) along with dozens of other highly rated programs.
