Let's Build It! Challenges & Open Play

Get ready for a hands-on, imagination-packed event as Northwest Branch Library invites young creators to Let’s Build It! Challenges & Open Play on June 9, from 1–3 p.m. This free program is specially designed for children ages 5 to 12, offering both open-ended construction time and exciting team-based building challenges.

Northwest Branch Library is part of the Harris County Public Library system, dedicated to enriching the community through educational and interactive programs like this one.

• A wide variety of building toys provided: Legos, Duplos, Magna-Tiles, Lincoln Logs, Big Blue Blocks, Straw Connectors, and more.
• Organized team challenges that encourage creativity, cooperation, and critical thinking.
• Free play stations for kids to design and explore at their own pace.
• Opportunity for kids and families to photograph their creations before they go.

Please note: All materials must remain at the library—leave personal building toys at home to avoid losing them.

Free tickets are required and available at the Information Desk starting 30 minutes before the event on a first-come, first-served basis.
