The Houston SPCA is inviting animal lovers and families to their highly anticipated Spring Open House. This exciting event promises a day of fun for all ages, showcasing the important work of the organization and offering plenty of opportunities to support animal welfare.

Event Details:
  • Date: April 12
  • Time: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (adoptions until 6 p.m.)
Highlights of the Spring Open House include:
  • Pet Adoption Specials: Find your new furry friend with special adoption pricing!
  • Easter Egg Hunts (12-2 p.m.): Ages 0-5 can enjoy a fun-filled egg hunt at the Houston SPCA Dog Parks. Be sure to bring your child’s best basket!
  • Live Equine Demonstrations: Meet the award-winning Equine and Farm Animal Team at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. at the Rescue Arena.
  • Wildlife Chats: Interact with wildlife experts and meet ambassador birds, learning about the 16,000 wild animals the Houston SPCA rescues each year.
  • Kitten Nursery Feedings: Watch live neonatal kitten feedings at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.
Additional Attractions:
  • Free samples from 7Brew Coffee, Eureka Heights Beer (must be 21+), and Kona Ice.
  • Fun activities like balloon animals, face painting, and a prize wheel with cool giveaways, including pet water fountains and Houston SPCA swag.
  • Complimentary refreshments like lemonade, iced coffee, and samples from Raising Cane’s.
