Description

Houston Audubon invites young nature lovers and budding artists to discover the intersection of creativity and conservation at the Wild Art Mini Camp, taking place July 22–24, at the scenic Edith L. Moore Nature Sanctuary. Designed for youth ages 9 to 13, this three-day summer camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. each day and offers a nature-inspired art adventure for $180 per camper.

Camp highlights include:
  • Guided nature-based arts and crafts in a historic log cabin
  • Outdoor creativity sessions among native forest trails
  • Small-group setting for an engaging, hands-on experience

Founded in 1969, Houston Audubon is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bird conservation and habitat restoration across the Gulf Coast. The Edith L. Moore Nature Sanctuary, one of its premier sanctuaries, provides a unique backdrop for immersive educational programs like this one.

Spots are limited for this summer arts camp in Houston—parents are encouraged to register early. For more details and registration, visit houstonaudubon.org or contact Amber Leung at 713-932-1639 or aleung@houstonaudubon.org.
