Description
Gumbo gourmands will get their fix when krewes compete for the Gumbo Cook-Off title from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at Cross Creek Ranch. Benefiting the Fulshear Police Foundation, the event will take place at the Cross Creek Ranch Welcome Center, located at 6450 Cross Creek Bend Lane. Attendees will be able to taste and vote on their favorite gumbos while enjoying live Zydeco music, live and silent auctions, food vendors, classic cars, fire trucks, police vehicles, games, and more.
Admission is free. Those wanting to participate in the cook-off can contact Derek Einkauf at 713-299-6222 or derek@swp3.com. Competitors must be registered by October 28. Registration is free.
