Genealogy Basics

Have you always wanted to get started tracing your family history?  Or do you feel like you've been doing this a while but want to brush up on some of the foundation skills?  

Our goal in this program is to help make your family history journey easier, more efficient and more enjoyable!

There will be a variety of topics covered throughout the year, including Introduction to Research, Using Basic Forms, Staying Organized, Using the big 4 Genealogy Sites (Ancestry, FamilySearch, MyHeritage and FindMyPast), Searching Online Archives, Using Library Resources, Genealogy Proof Standard and more.   

Any level is welcome and these classes are all independent, so come to one or all to build your research skills!
