This July, the City of Katy Parks and Recreation Department invites the community to cool off and celebrate Parks and Recreation Month with a fun and frosty summer series—Frosty Fridays in July! From 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. each Friday, visitors can enjoy free snowcones, exclusive parks swag, and the latest updates about upcoming programs and events in Katy’s growing parks system.
The City of Katy Parks and Recreation offers year-round programming that brings the community together. Frosty Fridays are a perfect example of that mission in action—combining seasonal treats, local partnerships, and family-friendly fun.

July 11 – Katy City Park: Free snowcones from Snowie, parks swag, and giveaways

July 18 – VFW Park: More free snowcones, info from Chewy Vet Care, and dog-friendly treats

July 25 – Katy Dog Park: No snowcones, but Chewy will be serving up Pupcups and goodies just for our four-legged guests!
