Description

Parkinson's disease is the fast-growing neurological disorder in the world. Research shows that exercise is a vital part of disease management. Houston Area Parkinson Society (HAPS) is bringing a new (and free!) exercise class to Spring for individuals living with Parkinson’s.

  • Thursday mornings at 10 am, beginning October 23rd

  • Led by HAPS instructor Lauren Robertson, PT, PDT, t
  • The class will include a range of elements, including strength, balance, and cardiovascular activities, while also addressing the needs of participants.

HAPS is a non-profit organization that serves, educates and advocates for those affected by Parkinson’s disease in our community. Founded in 1974, HAPS is one of the oldest independent, local Parkinson’s disease social service organizations in the United States providing comprehensive specialized support to those with Parkinson’s and their families in the eight-county greater Houston area.
