Deputy Sandeep Singh Dhaliwal Annual Breakfast at the Park

Copperbrook residents and neighbors across Harris County are invited to join the Annual Breakfast Honoring Deputy Sandeep Singh Dhaliwal at Charles W. Austin Park. This free community event remembers the life and legacy of Deputy Dhaliwal, the first Sikh deputy in Harris County Sheriff’s Office history, who was killed in the line of duty on September 27, 2019, during a traffic stop just outside Copperbrook.

Attendees can expect a morning of remembrance with prayers from multiple faith leaders, personal tributes, and a warm breakfast featuring both traditional and Indian-inspired dishes. The event will take place near the memorial dedicated to Deputy Dhaliwal, offering a space for fellowship, reflection, and unity.
