Explore the timeless art of macrame and its global cultural roots in Crafting History: Macrame, a free, hands-on workshop taking place on July 26, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Kleb Woods Nature Preserve and Center.

Led by a Precinct 4 Naturalist, this engaging class offers participants the opportunity to create decorative textiles using simple knots while learning the history of macrame—from its ancient origins to its recent resurgence in home décor and fiber arts.
