Description

Crafternoon Presents: Make a Zine is a hands-on creative workshop hosted by the Barbara Bush Branch Library on June 3, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. in the Earl Elliott Room. Open to teens and adults ages 13 and up, this unique art event invites participants to design and craft their own personal zine—a small, self-published booklet or mini magazine based on any topic that inspires them.

As part of the library’s ongoing Crafternoon series, this event aims to promote creativity, community engagement, and artistic expression through accessible, free crafting sessions.

What to expect:
  • Make your own one-of-a-kind zine
  • All supplies provided—just bring your creativity
  • One zine per participant due to limited materials
  • Relaxed, beginner-friendly atmosphere
  • Free event for ages 13+

Barbara Bush Branch Library, located in Spring, Texas, is part of the Harris County Public Library system and is known for its vibrant calendar of educational and cultural programs for all ages.
